So, about a month ago my roommate (who is also the owner of the home from which I rent) decides to cancel the cable service due to the fact that our service provider randomly hiked up the monthly cost?? I don’t know the full story but that sounds about right. I’ll be honest, I was kinda bummed at first until I realized I rarely watch TV anyhow. Fire away!
In return for canceling the cable, she purchased a Netflix subscription for herself and my other roommate..mmkay..I think I’m liking this plus an antennae for local broadcasting. Long story short. We (well, “she” since i’m on a flat monthly rent) now save a lot of money, get free unlimited streaming movies and some networks will post some of their past shows online. No biggie. I can live without it. So now I have Netflix with local antennae broadcasting and my computer – what more could I ask for?
